Grimstead Landing
Grimstead Landing is located on Gwynn’s Island, and shares the location with a public boat launch and a local restaurant. Coming in 2025: site will include an information kiosk and a kayak rack.
Directions: Rte 198 to Hudgins, turn on Rte 223, Cricket Hill Road. Cross the bridge onto the island & the landing is on the right next to the restaurant with plenty of parking. Outdoor porta potty & tables available; indoor facilities at the restaurant are open during business hours for customer use.

Friends of Mathews Blueways Trail
The Middle Peninsula Master Naturalists created a stewardship program to maintain the Mathews Blueways Trail. Each location is regularly checked by a member of the group and are able to report and/ or resolve any site issues.
