October Newsletter – Mathews Marathon = Boston Qualifier!

WE DID IT – Mathews Marathon Earns Prestigious Boston Qualifying Status!

The Mathews Marathon has officially been certified by USA Track & Field as a Boston Qualifying event, beginning at this year’s October 18th event! This exciting milestone means marathon participants can now use their finish times from the Mathews Marathon to qualify for the legendary Boston Marathon.

“We are incredibly proud that a race as small as the Mathews Marathon received this certification,” Johnson said. “This is an ideal location for a quick pace and some of the best scenery of any similar distance race.” – Christine Johnson, President of MOC spearheaded the certification process.
