Starting with the Wed 8/11 session, the Cardio Sculpt class led by Hope, has a new location. We’re excited to announce that this class will now be held at Williams Wharf Landing.
Moving the Cardio Sculpt class to Williams Wharf will allow people who want to do both the swim & this class on Wednesdays that option. Plus, the breeze off the water will help our participants keep a little cooler during their workout.

The Mathews Outdoor Club (MOC) kicked off the outdoor fitness program in June of this year with Cardio Sculpt class and Open Water Swim group. In the month of July, the MOC provided > 100 hours of fitness to the local community through this program and the competitive events.
We have attendees coming from Gloucester, Middlesex and here in Mathews County to join the fitness program. The cost and convenience seems to be hitting the right chord for our participants. A one-time waiver and $5 per session means you don’t pay for something you aren’t using.
It’s an ideal supplement to an existing gym membership.

In July, the MOC announced a partnership with US Coast Guard Auxiliary to provide Boat Safety Courses in Mathews County. USCG Aux Flotilla 66 is based at Milford Haven and has certified instructors for the state mandated course as well as more basic and advanced courses. In addition the USCG Auxiliary provides Vessel Safety Checks free of charge that can be arranged at your convenience. Details are available on the MOC Courses page.
